The Muddcatts mesmorize crowds with their immaculate portrayals of The Beatles and Elvis Presley. When they first hit the stage as a tribute to The Beatles, you would have to get back to the year 1964 to see a Beatles performance as authentic. According to 1964 Beatles experts, Beatles tribute act The Muddcatts prove that it won't be long until Beatles fans are given a ticket to ride.

Mark Nix's portrayal of John Lennon is a perfect mimic of his signature Liverpool scouse that helped to drive the British invasion and Beatlemania into the United States... He even has John Lennon's nose! Sid Bernstein's compliments of Nix's performance places his John Lennon impersonation at the highest level. Nix's reenactment of the enigmatic Lennon pierces through the rest during songs like "Nowhere Man", "A Hard Day's Night", and "Help!". The movie "Help!", by chance, was originally to be titled "Eight Arms to Hold You".

The responsibilties of George Harrison, the quiet Beatle, have been undertaken by the genius method acting and guitar / piano virtuosity of the young Jeremy Holmsley. As Beatles tribute artists and fans worldwide agree, Holmsley's Beatles tribute persona is beyond the pale and incomparable on songs like "Roll Over Beethoven", "Something", and "I Need You".

Ringo Starr's powerful sense of time is the embodiment of drummer Reno Tandy's portrayal, considered top notch by Liverpool 'Beatlemania' fanatics. The rhythms of Beatles drumbeats absolutely make The Muddcatts tribute to The Beatles come alive.

And "The Fab Four" would not be complete without a reenactment of the charismatic Paul McCartney. After training himself to play left-handed, Jared Shaw plays the McCartney role the way it was meant to be and how Beatles tribute fans want to see it. McCartney's vocal styles, from sweet melodies to energized shouts can be felt in songs like "I Saw Her Standing There", "All My Loving", and "Can't Buy Me Love".

As a band, The Muddcatts have made themselves a force to be reckoned with by performing fan-favorite Beatles songs that spark the urge to dance and cut the fat of the over complicated, studio-oriented material that tends to dilute the excitement of the Beatles tribute experience in other tribute shows. The Beatles never even performed most of that material! Beatles fans have spoken and The Muddcatts have definitely been listening.

As the last note of the last Beatles song is played, the show is only just beginning. The lights go dim and the theme from 2001: Space Odyssey roars over the crowd. The formerly Beatles tribute band has become Elvis Presley's 1970s band, and starts blazing through "See See Rider". Johnny Mandel enters the stage as a tribute to the king himself and the resemblance is startling. Jumpsuit shimmering, the band cooking, John plunges into the first verse with an eerily exact Tennessee Elvis accent.

Beatles and Elvis fans have been floored by the intensity and excited of The Muddcatts' show and will continue to be for years to come.
